MAY 2016 SEMINAR ANNOUNCEMENT

The PIAVA Board of Directors is pleased to announce that our next Private Investigator Orientation Training Seminar is scheduled for Saturday, May 14, 2016 from 8:00am to 5pm.

This course was originally designed to help our newest members learn more about our Association and our profession. Over the years, it has evolved from a partial day course to a full day of classes that would benefit even seasoned PIs. The instructors will be passing along some of their most valuable lessons learned, AKA “Hot tips” from their careers as PIs, each from their area of expertise.

Investigator’s Tool Box – Ed Leary, Director, PIAVA
Litigation Support and Documentation – Phil Becnel, Author, Past President, PIAVA
PIAVA Legislative Efforts – Todd Troutner
Surveillance and Surveillance Photography – Ron McKown, Executive Director, PIAVA
Cell Phone and Digital Forensics Overview – Patrick Siewert, Director, PIAVA
Marketing Your PI Services – Kenneth D’Angelo, Past President, PIAVA

This course is offered to all Regular, Associate and Life Members of PIAVA FREE OF CHARGE. Guests of our members are also welcome provided that they qualify and sign up for membership in the Association before the morning of the course. For more information on Association membership qualifications and how to apply, interested parties should visit the Membership page of this website. Members who have attended in the past are also welcomed as well.

Attending members will receive a PIAVA lapel pin and a thumb drive of PI Resources for internet searching as well as a certificate of attendance if they so desire.

Where: Best Western Fairfax, 3535 Chain Bridge Road, Fairfax, Virginia
Accommodations: Coffee and water will be available all day. A working lunch will be provided by PIAVA.
